This wiki is dedicated to creating a resource to be used by teachers enrolled in the Outdoor Education method at Latrobe University, Bendigo.
It's creation is henceforth dedicated, to acting as a valuable resource to be used by teachers, and to assist them to teach Outdoor and Environmental Studies in accordance with the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority 2005. The focus of this resource is on Unit 4, Area of Study 2 and the specific Key Knowlege #1. Specificly looking at 'Conflicts of interest between people involved in uses of natural environments, including Tourism, National Parks, Public Land, Farming, Conservation and Outdoor Recreation.'[As cited in Learner (2005)]
All pages within this resource will come with a 'how to do' section and also a section on 'why' we've selected them.
Just to add a bit of spice to the life of the page there is also a massive Reference list, in which all the references we have used to create this magical resource can be found.
Without further ado, here's a friendly comic. (c) Leunig 2009
